Children sometimes experience strong emotions that can be difficult to manage. Anger, frustration and meltdowns can be challenging for both children and the adults who support them. This Family Learning workshop helps parents and carers understand the reasons behind these behaviours and explore positive strategies to support their child's emotional wellbeing.

Through discussion and reflection, participants will learn practical techniques to help children manage emotions, build resilience and develop healthier ways of expressing their feelings.

- Parents and carers of children aged 3 to 11.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- Understand common causes of anger and meltdowns.
- Recognise triggers that affect children's behaviour.
- Explore strategies to support emotional regulation.
- Develop confidence in responding calmly to challenging situations.
- Learn ways to help children express emotions appropriately.
