What will we do?
Week 1: Introduction to mending, fabrics and hand-sewing techniques. Repair seams, hems and buttons.
Week 2: Patching, reinforcing clothing and visible mending.
Week 3: Creating keepsakes from outgrown or sentimental clothing, such as fabric hearts, lavender sachets and small cushions.
Week 4: Making simple bags from reclaimed fabrics and practising stronger hand-sewn construction techniques.
Week 5: Completing a personal repair or creative reuse project and sharing achievements with the group.

- Shared scissors and sewing equipment.
