Dreaming of a career in Beauty Therapy? This course is perfect for you! It’s designed to help you build a solid foundation in key beauty techniques and treatments. You’ll gain hands-on experience and knowledge in skincare, makeup, manicures, pedicures, and eyelash and eyebrow treatments.
Course Delivery
This course is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining face-to-face and online learning. Classroom sessions will take place at Queens Road Learning Centre from 9.30am to 3.00pm, followed by a tutor-led online session from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Learners are required to attend both the classroom and online sessions as part of the course.

How Will I be Assessed
You will build a portfolio of your work on the online platform Manage-Assess and will be assessed in your practical work by your Lecturers. You will have online exams and written assignments.
Progression:
Once you have achieved your Level 2 Beauty Therapy, you can progress into L3 Beauty Therapy, or the industry to become employed, or self-employed.
Equipment:
A Beauty Kit is required to develop your skills and complete the course. This will be discussed in Induction when you start your course. If you are on a low wage, you may be eligible for support through the Hardship Fund.
Course Enrolment and Assessment:
Before enrolling, you'll attend a face-to-face interview, which includes a short English and Maths assessment, lasting around 2 hours.
