The Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing is a blended learning course combining practical salon-based training with online theory supported by your tutor.
Course Delivery
This course is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining face-to-face and online learning. Classroom sessions will take place at Queens Road Learning Centre from 9.30am to 3.00pm, followed by a tutor-led online session from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Learners are required to attend both the classroom and online sessions as part of the course.

You will build an online portfolio using ManageAssess and be assessed through practical observations, online exams and written assignments.
Equipment
A professional hairdressing kit is required and details will be provided at induction. Learners on a low income may be eligible for support through the Hardship Fund.
Course Enrolment and Assessment
Before enrolling, you will attend a face-to-face interview, including a short English and Maths assessment. The process takes approximately two hours.
