The purpose of the Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping is to ensure that learners have the advanced bookkeeping skills necessary to work in a bookkeeping role or to progress to higher level accountancy. This qualification is a progression route for those who have achieved the Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
The course is also suitable for those who have already started their journey studying a related subject and are looking to develop their bookkeeping skills or for those who have already started working in finance and who have a desire to attain formal recognition of their skills.

Progression:
Once you have successfully passed the Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping you can progress to the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting Level 3. Speak to your tutor for further guidance.

Face to Face Assessment: The face-to-face session will last for around 2 hours, you will watch a short presentation on our AAT offer, followed by a short assessment in English and Maths.
