Course Title: Art Club for SEND families
Course Description:
A monthly art and craft club for families with SEND. This is a relaxed, small-group session to enjoy being creative in an open, supportive environment.
Spend time in our lovely, calm art room and explore different art and craft materials and projects. Build confidence and enjoy creativity in a way that suits your family’s needs.
You will have open access to different activities and materials such as clay, paints, drawing materials and paper crafts.
Sessions have optional teacher-led activities to join, if that appeals to learners, or you can simply enjoy access to art materials in your own time and space.
This session is designed to make the benefits of creative arts accessible, supporting learning with visuals, adapted communication, sensory awareness and adapted use of tools and materials.
Who is the course for?
This course is for families of children with SEND including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, physical motor differences and learning disabilities.
Do you gain any qualifications?
No – this course is not accredited.
