Course Title: One day workshop – Learn to use a sewing machine in one day 5 hrs (half hour break) Saturday
Course Description:
Learners will learn the basic function of a sewing machine so they can be confident using straight and zig zag stitches. This one day course is designed for absolute beginners who would like to start their sewing journey. Maybe you bought a sewing machine and it’s still in the box, maybe you have always dreamt of starting to sew. This the perfect workshop to kickstart that new hobby or creative business idea. You will be guided through setting up your machine, get to know the different parts, learn how to wind the bobbin and thread the machine ready for use. Once you’ve had a little practice learners will construct their own mini drawstring bag.
Who is the course for?
This course is for absolute beginners, the topics covered will be basic and not suitable for people who have used a sewing machine for any length of time.
