Course Title: Supporting Neurodiversity through Creative Art

Course Description:
Join us for a friendly and inclusive 5-week creative arts course.
Throughout the course you will explore a range of art techniques and discover ways to express yourself. You’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace, build confidence and enjoy the process of making art in a supportive environment.
You will experiment with materials such as paint, clay, paper, sound and video. We will explore drawing, painting/printmaking, sculpture, collage and time-based media.
This course is designed to make the benefits of creative arts accessible, using strategies to support a range of neurodivergent learners such as visual stories, adapted communication, sensory awareness and adapted use of tools and materials.
Who is the course for?
Neurodivergent adults. Including those who are autistic, have ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and sensory processing differences.

This course is for neurodivergent adults who want to explore creativity in a calm, understanding and sensory-aware environment.
It may appeal to adults who:
• enjoy creative activities
• want to communicate through art
• prefer a relaxed, low-pressure learning space
• enjoy exploring colours, textures and different materials
Carers may attend with learners who need extra support.


Do you gain any qualifications?
No – this course is not accredited.

Do you need to be interviewed or assessed before enrolling on the course?
On enrolling, you will have the opportunity to help us understand your needs, your interests, and any support you require.
If you will be attending with a Carer, they will also need to enrol.
