Course Overview
Learn how to decorate cakes with stunning seasonal floral designs using buttercream piping. Across six weeks, you’ll build confidence with piping tools and techniques, explore seasonal flowers and colour palettes, and finish by creating your own beautifully decorated floral cake.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for beginners and improvers who want to develop their cake decorating skills. No prior experience is necessary – just an interest in learning a new creative skill.

What you will learn:
By the end of the course, you will be able to:

-Prepare buttercream for smooth piping results
Use a range of nozzles to pipe different flower styles and leaves
-Mix and blend colours to suit seasonal themes
-Arrange flowers for impact and balance on a cake
-Apply finishing touches to create a showpiece design

Course Outline (6 Weeks):

Week 1: Introduction to buttercream, tools & basic piping strokes
Week 2: Piping simple flowers (daisies, blossoms) and leaves
Week 3: Developing floral techniques – roses and layered petals
Week 4: Seasonal colour palettes and two-tone piping
Week 5: Final project – decorating a complete seasonal floral cake

Course Length: 5 weeks (1 session per week, approx. 2 hours per session)

Materials:
All practice materials provided. Learners may bring a cake or dummy for the final session to showcase their design.
