Course description
This short online workshop is designed for adults who would like to support their wellbeing through mindful writing. Whether you are new to journaling or have tried it before and felt unsure about how to begin, this course offers a gentle and supportive introduction.

The workshop explores how to establish a regular writing practice without pressure or fear of perfection. You will be introduced to simple, accessible writing techniques that can help you reflect on thoughts and emotions, find balance and develop greater self‑awareness. Research evidence around the wellbeing benefits of journaling will also be shared.

Throughout the sessions, you will be guided through a range of writing prompts and themes. These may include reflecting on perceived setbacks and reframing them on the page, as well as exploring your relationship with nature and everyday experiences. The focus is on personal reflection rather than writing skill or style.

Who the course is for
This course is suitable for adults who are interested in wellbeing, reflection and personal development through writing. No prior writing experience is required.

What you will gain
By the end of the workshop, you will have developed greater insight into yourself and gained access to practical resources and techniques to help you continue journaling independently after the course.
