Workshop Title: Sleep Well: Strategies for Restful Nights (Online)

This workshop will provide participants with a good understanding of sleep and explore strategies to improve it.
This online workshop will be delivered via Zoom by an experienced trainer; giving you all the benefits of face-to-face support from your own homes.

Session overview:
This workshop is aimed at adults who would like to learn about the importance of sleep and how to develop a good sleep practice.

This one-off session will cover:
• The importance of sleep
• An introduction to sleep physiology
• The link between sleep and mental health
• Common sleep difficulties
• Good sleep practice
• Useful resources

This session will be live online. Participants might be asked to access on-line links, download information, answer quizzes, view a short video and take part in group discussions.

Who is this session for?
This introductory session is aimed at people with no prior knowledge.
Please note that this short session is not intended to replace seeking professional help.

How will this session be delivered?
This course will be delivered life online via Zoom. You will need an internet connection and a computer or tablet with microphone and camera. The tutor will send joining instruction details prior attendance.

Other requirements:
It is best that you do not eat a heavy meal or drink caffeinated drinks just before the session. Or wear anything tight around the belly.
You will be required to:
- complete an evaluation questionnaire after taking part.
