This course is designed for anyone interested in exploring different printing techniques, using the unique landscape of the Wetlands as inspiration. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll develop your observation skills and learn various printmaking methods to create your own imagery.
Throughout the course, you will:
Experiment with a range of printmaking techniques, from mark-making to colour mixing.
Develop your own designs inspired by the Wetlands through guided observation and outdoor drawing sessions (weather permitting).
Work with different materials and inking methods to bring your prints to life.
The course includes a combination of hands-on printmaking tasks, exploration of materials, and creative exercises to deepen your connection with nature and printmaking.
Essential equipment:
Please bring an apron, an A4 folder, a notebook and a pen.
