Course Content:
• Basic English Skills:
Recognising letters, words, and simple sentences
Building basic reading comprehension skills
Writing simple sentences with punctuation
Speaking and listening in everyday situations
• Maths Language and Foundations:
Understanding basic number concepts (counting, adding, subtracting)
Recognising mathematical terms used in everyday life
Reading numbers, time, and money correctly
Using numbers in practical scenarios (e.g., shopping, budgeting)
Progression Opportunities:
• Provides a foundation for Step up to Entry 3 courses
• Supports learners in gaining confidence for further study and practical applications in daily life
