The Award in Accounting Software offers you the opportunity to develop your skills in using accounting software. This qualification can offer a route into employment, support you in your existing work, or help you pursue further study in accounting or bookkeeping.

You will learn to use SAGE Line 50 Accounting Software.
This course is accredited. You will gain a level 1 Award in Computerised Accounting
You will learn the following:
• Create accounts using computerised accounts software
• Process accounting information using computerised software
• Understand how to use batch control sheets
• Produce reports using computerised software

We have online and face to face appointments available, daytime and evening.
Face to Face Assessment: The face-to-face session will last for around 2 hours, you will watch a short presentation on our AAT offer, followed by a short assessment in English and Maths.
Online Assessment: The Link to the online session will be sent the day before the session. You will watch a presentation about our course offer. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. After the information session a link for an online English and Maths assessment will be sent to you. You will be expected to complete these within a given timeframe.
Each assessment can take 40mins to complete. Assessment is used to place you on the appropriate level course and to identify any barriers to learning, so support needs can then be put in place if required.
