This PowerPoint workshop is designed for individuals who are new to Microsoft PowerPoint and want to learn how to create compelling presentations. This workshop will cover the essential features and tools of PowerPoint, providing you with the skills needed to design, format and present professional-quality slides. By the end of this workshop, you'll be able to confidently use PowerPoint to enhance your presentations for various personal and professional contexts.

What you cover:
- Getting to know PowerPoint: Find out how to create and open presentations navigating through the PowerPoint environment utilising the quick access toolbar.
- Slide basics: Understand the layouts and how to insert, format and organise your slides.
- Text and objects: Learn how to format and align your text, a text boxes and insert pictures.
- Design and themes: Jazz up your presentation by applying themes and customising the appearance of slides.
- Presentation and output: Learn all about saving and printing your presentation.

What you will need:
This workshop will be conducted online via Zoom so you should set up an account. You'll need a device such as a computer or laptop that has the Microsoft Office suite installed and has a stable internet connection. A webcam, microphone and speakers (or headphones) are necessary for listening to instructors and participating in discussions. We’ll send a Zoom link to your email the day of class.

Access to Microsoft Excel (version 2013 or later) installed on a computer or laptop is required for hands-on exercises.

This course is suitable for those with little to no experience of PowerPoint.
