If you are interested in teaching, this course is for you. You will develop an insight into the role and responsibilities of teaching and training within further education sector. Topics will include teaching and learning approaches, observe and evaluate micro teach and understanding the use of assessment methods.

This Level 3 Award is accredited by City and Guilds and consists of the following units:
Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
Understanding assessment in education and training
To understand appropriate teaching and learning approaches within a candidate’s specialist area
To plan, deliver and evaluate micro-teaching session
To observe and evaluate micro-teaching sessions
To understand the use of assessment methods and record keeping
Entry requirements:
You will need to attend an interview and complete an assessment before enrolling on the course and will need Level 2 English skills.
