Course overview
This qualification is designed for new and aspiring team leaders – get an in-depth introduction to the role and its responsibilities. This is a nationally recognised qualification – the ideal launch pad for your management career. This training program is designed to help individuals develop the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively lead and manage a team of people in a professional setting. The course covers topics such as communication, motivation, delegation, conflict resolution, goal setting, and performance management. The aim of this course is to equip you with the tools needed to lead a team to success, and to help you develop the confidence and competence necessary to handle a range of managerial tasks and responsibilities.

What you'll learn
The units in this qualification cover a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding. These include units that focus on:
• Communication, with units that cover getting your message across and how to brief a team.
• Working with people, including helping your team improve.
• Providing direction and leadership, such as how to self-manage and develop as a team leader.
• Essential competencies and getting results, from problem-solving to planning and monitoring workloads.

There are no requirements but learners should have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme

This course is portfolio based.
