Course Description:
Learn how to make a drypoint print. Drypoint is an intaglio technique that enables marks to be drawn into a flat plate (either perspex or card) using a sharp tool. The plate is then inked and wiped and printed in the same way as an etching.
Course Information:
You will cover:

• How to achieve a range of marks using the drypoint technique to create your own print that you can take home at the end of the course

• How to ink and print your drypoint using specialist printmaking equipment

• How to apply inks using different techniques to create a variety of different effects

• You will have 1:1 help with the development of ideas and for support

Essential Equipment:
Please bring an apron and notebook. Other materials will be provided.

Entry requirements:
This course is suitable for beginners and those with more experience. This course may not be suitable for learners with SEN – please enquire first."
